My decision to go to University of Baltimore was made in my Spring semester in Prince George's Community College back in 2015. was in the Student Transfer Fair looking around for four-year colleges when the University of Baltimore's information table came upon my eyes. I looked at their tuition prices, scholarships, the area, and even their majors. I was very interested in the Simulation and Digital Entertainment (later renamed Game Design) because I was very interested in games. So, I took some many elective courses, finish my Associates Degree in Prince George's, then transferred to Baltimore as a full-time student.
Choosing University of Baltimore is not the only way I was interested because of the major. The university is also cheap, and I earned a two-year full tuition scholarship because of my GPA in Prince George's. I want to try to be independent. For years, I have been living under my parent's roof because of my disability. I really did not manage to get money for a four-year, so I stick towards community college. I will rather be in-state studying game design rather than going out-of-state and paying for what you should study.
I hope I can finish my Level Design program under the two-year mark. I hope to come out learning how to make game environments, backgrounds, and even objects. I want to make game backgrounds that might relate to simulation or making interesting art styles on objects. o reach my goal, I will start off by doing internships first. I rather learn by watching others making their projects by being at their side.
